Our nephew bought these Beltex sheep at the market very recently. They are quite young & were rather skinny & poor looking when he bought them but a lovely cosy indoor place to lie & some sweet smelling bay has transformed them into happy sheep with full tummies.
There were roughly about 300 sheep in this building....might show more tomorrow!
Three good things:
1. I had taken a photograph of a bit of sheep wool caught on a hedge until we saw these as we walked past.... much better option.
2. We hit the hoped for number of 8000 steps on our walk this morning. My Fitbit flashes up with stars & vibrates when I reach the magic number.
3. We opened the tub of chocolates this afternoon .... delicious!
300 sheep must warm the shed up somewhat! Nice that they are fed and cosy inside ready for winter. My fitbit does all that but at 3000 steps - not so challenging as you!
So lovely to see them all cosy and warm away from the wintery weather - Certainly a flock of happy sheep !
Fatal to open a tub of chocolates well before Christmas ( we have done the same )!!
@maggiemae They were all very comfy....I am happy with 8000 steps, I don’t do it that often perhaps twice a week but I feel it’s a doable challenge.
@beryl we couldn’t resist...I have a real craving for Chocolate at the moment...must ween myself off after Christmas...I never used to eat much before...not good! We could have chocolate around & never opened it but it’s a different story at the moment!
Lucky sheep to get a farm with good feed..
I got a fit bit for my birthday from Donna she set it on a fairly low target but I have raised it already.. it certainly helps to push you a bit harder to do more...
