This is the route we take to visit our bungalow. We try & go every evening around 4.30pm just to see the progress.
These trees are Lime trees & go the full length of the agriculture show field which you can see on the right.
Sadly no show again this year which is usually held on the third weekend in July. It was a hard decision not to go ahead but the committee daren't take the rusk of hiring all the marquees & then it not being able to go ahead.
Three good things:
1. Such a lovely hot day....so glad just to sit in the courtyard with my book today.
2. The scaffolding is down at the front of build.
3. Progress from the surgery after we signed a third party info form....they actually told me something today!
Lovely lush looking image and nice spot for a shady summer walk.. So sad with all the things that have had to be cancelled... Our local A&P show was cancelled this year abd the school reunion that was cancelled due to lockdown delayed till this year but cancelled again because if the uncertainty..
I used my plant & tree identifier to find out what these trees were...I think they look wonderful but seem to go a bit brown early some years.
Thank you all.
@julzmaioro Oh I’m surprised you are are still cancelling things....we seem to be falling into all things normal here...a bit scary really as the Indian strain is still hanging about...lots of mingling so I do hope we aren’t going to lay for it later!
@judithg They had to make their mind up by 1st March...so difficult but the right one I think. We missed a wedding two weeks ago....they went ahead from a postponement from year before but only 30 allowed...we missed the cut!🤣🤣🤣🤣. Hope you get to go to yours...I love a wedding!
This is beautiful, Pat. Such a green and shady lane. I think it's probably a wise move that the Ag Show is postponing for another year. Better safe than sorry.
