Camouflage tactics! by happypat

Camouflage tactics!

This lovely cotoneaster has been covered in berries for a few weeks now but it’s main talent is covering a rather horrible wall. You have probably seen those grey square tiles with the angular pattern in them….very old fashioned but this plant is covering most of the wall very nicely!

Three good things:
1. I bought some seat cushions for the dining chairs, a sieve, another pan & some more odds & ends we needed.
2. More rain & more rain….we planted those trees at just the right time!
3. Seems to be plenty of fuel up this way….no queues but the price has shot up for diesel.
Very nice shot

I'm glad they're doing such a good job and also feeding the birds, but I wouldn't like the job of keeping them trimmed!

It’s a pretty plant, nice that it hides the ugly wall. We were promised rain all week, just empty promises though.

They have a charm of their own especially when camouflage at work 😊

Wow so many berries. Hope it doesn't mean you are in for a harsh winter.

It is getting warmer here now after storms. Going to sort out our garden shed, I think it will keep us busy for a while.

We’re excited here that Nigel got petrol today - some days the pumps have all been empty. My neighbour’s cotoneaster attracted a flock of waxwing one year so you never know!

@judithg Doesn’t seem to be much problem up here getting petrol…..much worse in the South.
