The other end of the bay showing Little Orme. It does look a little dark….I thought I had taken it in the evening but it’s mid morning…..it was very cloudy.
You can see the lovely curve of the bay & the very nice hotels all along the promenade.
A few little boats moored up for the day.
Three good things:
1. Heavy rain again today in very frequent showers but the immediate threat of flooding has receded for now.
2. A busy day shopping & having a good tidy up….I must say it’s soon done! 😍
3. Rice pudding with the skin on for a bit later when our first course settles!
Quite a moody scene Pat ,but a lovely glistening sheen on the water! Rice with the lovely skin on it - my Mum mad a beautiful creamy rice pudding - Rod used to love it ,and Mum would make a rice pudding whenever we went up home ( just for Rod !!)
I remember going there once when my daughter Debbie was 3 years old. We stood on top of Great Orme on a beautiful sunny summer day and Debbie took hold of my hand and said 'Look at all that distance covered in summer' I thought that was quite profound for a 3 year old.
@beryl My Mum used to make creamy rice pudding with skin on too and it was delicious. I have never managed to make it taste as good as Mum's.
What a beautiful scene, I love the grey tones. Rice pudding with the skin on sounds good. I tend to make it in the slow cooker now, so I miss the skin!
