Opposites

The little white house has been sold and got an annex....stil not sure what toting about it. It’s more than double the original floorspace but....I liked the old house with its character better. On the white wall was in the past a mural with the words ‘ chateau de ma mere’ after a book from Marcel Pagnol ( I adored that book)
pity you can't just go in and have a look :)

Such a pity, it looks as if they put a camper on top.

Maybe it’s beautiful inside ....but I have to agree with Diana, it does look like a camper on top

@koalagardens @ludwigsdiana @momamo I hope it is stylish inside because I don’t like the outside either.

Jacqueline, I am with you I think I would like the old building better.
- Change is always hard, especially when you are reminded of it, by seeing it regularly. I envisage that the 'annex' holds a space that is special to the new owners and provides added room for them to create lasting memories for their family. Maybe in time your sense of loss for the original building will shift and you might gain an new appreciation for the new life this home has been given. I truly hope this is the case.

@kgolab Hi Keren, you’re probably right. And I really hope that the people who live there have a wonderful home. I just miss the old building occasionally.
