Back in Houston, and here is one I prepared earlier ... As I count down to the big move, time for photography is getting trickier, but I still plan to post black and whites of my favourite spots in Houston before I go! Here's the Buffalo Bayou where I do all my jogging. The whole area is currently being renovated, and I'm just sad that I'm not going to see it when all the work is finished.
@happysnap We weren't delighted Linda, as we'd rather have stayed an extra year in Houston. However, who can complain about a move to Paris? Just making the most of our last few weeks here. Heading to Washington DC for a few days on Wednesday, as hubby has to go on business, and then squeezing in a few days in Phoenix mid August to visit our daughter who's just arrived there for a year's internship. After that it's across the pond and Gay Paree!
@lyndemc Moving is always so time consuming - especially when you're changing countries! The lists of 'to do's' are endless! However, it is always exciting, and I do like the challenge of a new place to live. This will be my 28th house move, so I'm fairly experienced in packing! ;-) We have absolutely loved living in Houston, so will be sad to leave though. :-(
Great B&W skyline shot! It must be fun to move around and be part of a new culture every so often! Do you move around for work? I can't wait to see photos of Paris!
I can certainly appreciate the pros and cons of such a big move. Do hope the move goes well for you. But first of all enjoy the remains of your US stay. Lots of interesting photo ops coming up for you in Paris!
Hadn't realised you were headed for Paris, Issi - familiar stomping ground for you, n'est-ce pas? Can't believe that's your time in Houston finished already. Hope M is enjoying Phoenix!
@jamibann I moved 31 times while living with my parents so I know all about that packing thing. I've moved once since getting married 31 years ago. Glad your experience in Houston's been a good one. Imagine you'll have the same to say about time spent in France. WooHoo!
