Gradually getting my 365 postings up to date. This is the first rose in my garden this year. When we came back to the house in September last year, we found all the climbing roses completely submerged in ivy. We spent lots of time and energy cutting the ivy back and what a pleasure it is to see the roses emerge once again. I picked this one and placed it out of the wind on a bough of the cherry tree for this photo shoot! It's now in a vase inside the house. :-)
