I'm sure lots of these will be uploaded today, and most will be better than this. But this is as good as I could do. I thought I'd be able to do it with a lower ISO and faster shutter speed, but no. Taken at 4.23 am today. First time I've ever watched a lunar eclipse and it was a beautiful clear night in Paris. :-)
@salza I realised it's much harder to capture the eclipsing moon than the full moon because of the lack of light. I enjoyed trying though! Hope you have something nice on your memory card!
I think you did a really good job of capturing the blood eclipse super moon. Yours is better than a lot of others seen today so don't beat yourself up. You can always have another go in 2033 if not satisfied with this one! What a thought!
@craftymeg Yes, I just got up for the actual eclipse. Set the alarm for 4 and didn't bother going back to bed. It was a lovely sight on such a beautiful clear evening here.
@lyndemc Oh what a shame. We were so lucky with a clear evening. September in France has been a great month of sunshine and clear skies. However, winter looms!
