I pass this beautifully painted wall, under a road bridge, when I cycle down by the river on my way to tennis on a Thursday morning. It used to be a dull grey wall, until someone had the idea to use it for an art project. The result is outstanding. I love the way the morning sun created a diagonal shaft of light across the image.
Your timing is exquisite! It looked like it had been the way the painting had been lit, it looked so natural. What a wonderful way to treat the area. There are a few spots like this in Chicago...makes me think I should check them out (and get out on bike for some exercise!).
