I got back to France last night and realised that the Foire de Chatou was on this week, and that today was the only opportunity for me to go. The housework and the grass cutting can wait! So, off I went with two objectives. Oysters and white wine for lunch and some photos of some of the goods for sale - not always easy, as the traders really don't like you taking photos. I succeeded reasonably well though, so I'll post one or two over the next couple of days.
@teiko It is a super event Emile - twice a year and I try never to miss it. Partly for the photography, but also for the food aspect. They always have a great alley of food and oysters are always available! What's not to like!? I didn't have to photograph secretly, but you certainly have to be quick and discreet!
@milaniet Oh, I started with the oysters and wine - in the autumn sunshine and with a good seat for a spot of casual photography. In fact, this image was taken whilst I was eating my oysters!
@lyndemc Well hello Denise! Are you back? Or is this just a wee visit to 365? I do miss all your wonderful images you know and your insightful comments. As you'll see, I'm still here, and into my fourth year. Occasionally I have thoughts of stopping, usually because of the time factor, but always find reasons to continue! Lovely to see your smiling face again! :-)
@jamibann I miss 365 so much and honestly think about it/talk about it every single day. I even manage to come by and peek at your pictures every now and then. Even tho I don't have anything new to photograph, I'm about to sign back up, dust off the camera (yes, it's been collecting dust), and rejoin you here on 365. I so hope you don't have any plans of leaving anytime soon!
