Determined to have a cultural day in Paris whilst I had both 'kids' home, yesterday we went to see Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan's exhibition at the Money Museum in Paris. However, it took about 30 minutes to view the 10 or so sculptures on display and that was it, over! 12 euros each, ka-ching! I was disappointed, I have to say. I did get this fun selfie though and then lunch in Café de la Paix!
@randystreat Yes, the art was 'interesting' although I pretty much knew what I was going to see. He has some very 'weird' ideas. I don't mind that, as I'm open to viewing all sorts of art; contemporary and traditional and I wanted something 'fun' for the kids. First time I've ever felt 'cheated' in a museum though - it wasn't the lack of interest factor, there was plenty of that, but just not enough content.
