Musée de la Monnaie

I loved the way the light was hitting her face. She was looking out across the road to the river Seine, contemplating the lightly falling rain.
Lovely moody shot... looks very much a vintage shot..

She looks deep in thought, a nicely captured moment. Suits the B&W too.

A Fav for the beauty of this picture, its b&w edit, its perfect DOF, the love you have for your daughter shining through. So glad she survived that biking accident.

@lyndemc Thanks Denise. From this angle you don't see the big scar on her forehead! I woke last night worrying about her arm though - she has her first x-ray coming up to check that all is well underneath. I have concerns about the lack of rotation, 5-weeks on. She has great movement of fingers, but can't rotate the lower arm - so debilitating when it's your dominant arm. I just hope it's a case of simple physiotherapy to remedy that, and that nothing is wrong with the fixing of the plates. I guess I won't relax about that until she's had that x-ray - on Monday. I certainly haven't said anything to her about my concerns, and fingers crossed it's just me worrying about nothing - again! ;-)

@jamibann I completely understand that waking up in the night with concern for your kid. You just don't want any lingering complications from this accident. Monday now seems a long ways off knowing that you're waiting for confirmation that the healing is going just fine.

@lyndemc You're so right, Monday is still a long way off!
