I'm afraid there were no beautifully posed Christmas photos of these three ... the boys won't tow the line in that respect. I did insist, however, on getting ONE image of the three of them together over the Christmas period. This shot was taken on the Pont Neuf on Boxing Day - they stood still just long enough for me to get a decent image! Better on black, naturally.
Nice shot of them. And we know the feeling of trying to get our family (the kids, mainly) to slow up enough and to act nice (no funny faces) for a photo now and then. Congratulations. You did it.
It's lovely!! I have no family Christmas photos this year. I was at my parent's home for Christmas as they are rather elderly, and my husband and son and daughter took NO photos!!! Very sad!!
@sarah19 Yes, it's always so busy around Christmas day, that I have to consciously stop everything and be sure to get a record of the event - otherwise I really regret it - you can't go back in time!
Good for you, insisting the reluctant boys stand for a brief moment so the memory can be captured on 'film'. It's amazing how it honestly takes a focused effort to make sure pictures are taken over the holidays. The B&W edit is striking and I love those lamp posts!
