Massif de l'Etale, La Clusaz

This is the last upload from our ski holiday - I'm trying to keep them varied so as not to bore you all! As we stood at the top of the chairlift at the Massif de l'Etale, we spotted a group of climbers/skiiers at the top of the mountain opposite (you can just see them on the right side of the photograph). We watched them for ages, intrigued by what they were doing. They seemed to be on skis, but also seemed to have a rope which they appeared to be using to descend, at least part, of the mountain. Our curiosity was never satisfied however as suddenly the mist rolled down and they disappeared from sight. We skied off downhill, whilst we could still see to do so. I hope these guys succeeded in whatever they were doing, and that they got off the hill safely, above all!
The climbers really provide perspective to this image of the mountain.

I love that you pointed out those climbers - quite some distance to watch them - must have been interesting. Love the way you've processed this. Fav

Wow! So glad you pointed out those climbers...they really do provide perspective. I can almost feel that mist rolling down the mountain. Cool image and narrative. :-)
