Stade Jean Bouin by jamibann

Stade Jean Bouin

Yesterday evening we went to see La Section Paloise play rugby against Stade Français at the Stade Jean Bouin in the 16th Arondissement of Paris. It was a great match, and the best team did win, but unfortunately, not the team we were supporting! I love this very cool rugby stadium, designed by French architect, Rudy Riciotti.
Impressive looking stadium. I like how the b&w brings out the sky.

What an incredible architectural example -- it looks like steel lace. In a way, it surprises me it's for rugby which is such a tough sport.

It's an interesting looking stadium. The sky is very dramatic. I like the perspective the people give to this image.
