The fishing week is over. It's time to go home. Hubby on the right of image and our friends, Jan and Graham, along with their dog, Spud, and daughter Rachael with boyfriend Andrew. A great, but very tiring week.
@aglennc Actually, for once, it was, Anita. This is the River Dee, which is a famous Scottish salmon fishing river in Scotland. It used to be very good, but over the last few years it has become more and more difficult to catch fish. This was a good week. Hubby caught 3 salmon and a sea trout. His friend caught 2 salmon. They were delighted!
@taffy That's because it's the end of the week and everyone is going home! ;-) Seriously, it is a great fun week, but very tiring as the girls do all the cooking and ferrying of food up and down river. There is a fair bit of alcohol consumed, a lot of physical activity, and the boys fish fairly hard all day, and often go back at dusk to fish for sea trout - getting home around 2am. It's a challenging, fun week though!
