Progress ... or lack of it. by jamibann

Progress ... or lack of it.

Well, they started in March. It is now September. It's going far too slowly, and all because of 'waiting on steel'. It's doing my head in. But here is where we are. I just hope they get the roof on soon ... winter is around the corner.
It doesn't look like you're ready for visitors yet ;-( Seriously, though, that is very slow progress. Couldn't they pick an alternative to the steel?

Bet you're doing a lot of deep breathing to keep calm. It'll be worth it in the end.

Think I have missed the back story on this one. Is this in France or in Scotland?

@busylady Scotland Judith. Our 'retirement' home! Just as well we're not in a hurry!

I feel your pain. It took 5 months to build our kitchen extension. We too had to wait for a steel beam, as well as digging deeper foundations. It's worth it in the end, although this looks a bigger project than ours, so may take longer yet. Good luck!

Wow... that's a long time. WE've built entire homes in that time. I hope the timeline speeds up for you! Looks great in B&W!

I really don't want to hear any complaints. Mine started in May of 2015 and still isn't done. Seriously, this is going to be very nice.
