This is not posted for what it is (a very average photo), but for what it represents (a tribute to my Mother-in-Law). It was taken back in January, from her home in Portadown, Northern Ireland. She passed away, peacefully, but suddenly, last night. Thankfully, my husband was able to be at her side, along with his 2 sisters. I consider myself very lucky to have had Mo Mo as my MIL all these years - a better one I could not have had. RIP my love.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Issi. This is a beautiful tribute. My thoughts are with you and your family, wishing you moments of peace and comfort during this sad time.
What a treasure, having a wonderful mother-in-law in your life. That you consider yourself lucky to have been her DIL speaks volumes about the kind of person she was. My condolences to you, your husband and family. A final farewell is heavy on the heart. (Pretty sunset, by the way.)
I just went back through your images and had missed this one. It is a very sad entry to be sure, but lovely that you had such a good relationship. Safe travels as you all convene there.
Just saw this beautiful shot. All the very best to you and yours for your travels and the funeral. Lovely that you have such positive memories of her. Kindest thoughts with you.
@lyndemc I have been trying to see your recent photos, and wonder if I've missed something? I can't find your recent photography, only your first 365 album ... and then I read your profile and October 2017 says 'you must go ...'. Have you gone? I do hope not. :-(
