The Scrum

We went to see our favourite French rugby team (La Section Paloise - in white) yesterday, play against one of the Parisian teams - Stade Français. It turned out to be a brilliant match, with La Section winning by 35 points (5-40 final score).

We support 'La Section' for two reasons : Firstly we lived in Pau for almost 5 years, and went to all their home matches whilst we were there. Secondly, they are heavily sponsored by Total, my husband's employer (and my former employer). A winning combination as it turned out, yesterday at least!

Well, now I know what a scrum is in rugby...since I've never seen a rugby match I looked it up online to get the specifics. Your photo certainly shows the determination of these players to get possession of the ball. I can almost hear their grunts and growls. :-)
