I think I've told some of you about Hugh before. He is over 90 years old, and still as sprightly as anything. I'll pluck up courage one of these days and get a photograph of him. Anyway, Hugh uses our greenhouse, and has done for about 5 years, as we've not been resident and therefore unable to use it ourselves. We now consider it as 'Hugh's greenhouse' and will do so for as long as he's able to grow his dahlias, fuchsias, begonias, tomatoes and cucumber. He's a real star. He comes twice a day to water and tend his plants - and when the cucumber and tomatoes are ripe, he shares them with me. What more could I ask for?
