On our way down to St Andrews to meet our daughter we had a lovely round of golf at Lundin Links. It was full of nostalgia for hubby as his parents used to live in a flat overlooking the first tee and the 18th green. He and his dad used to often play on a Sunday and then enjoy a roast dinner cooked by his mum. In those days she wasn't allowed to play the course - no women were. Changed days now, I really enjoyed the round! The hill in the background is Largo Law. I rather liked the cloud formation in this image.
The cloud is following the line of the hill. It's always so good for us to go back to our childhood haunts... lovely memories. Glad they allowed you to play! 🤓
@happypat Yes the cloud was quite amazing, following the line of the hill. It's funny to think that not only was John's mum not allowed to play there, but she wasn't even allowed to be inside the clubhouse without being accompanied by a member, who of course had to be a man ... Changed days - fortunately.
