The sufferfest

Day 3, cycling to Sra Em, was brutal. 95 km in 35 degrees on never ending straights of red dust roads. It was like cycling through a hair dryer! I was carrying my camera but didn’t take a photo as I was just too hot and bothered. This is one taken by our friend Yvonne and it just shows perfectly how our day was!
Looks like a never ending road. You are very persistent.

I wondered how you would get on. I have a friend who did som cycling in Vietnam and the heat did for her too

Oh wow ...

A long straight road. I would image you'd think it would never end, given the conditions.

@yorkshirekiwi Vietnam was great for us - a few degrees cooler, which makes all the difference, and some shade from time to time. To be fair, this was the only day that we really suffered. Combination of heat and the long dry straights - it was a bit soul destroying! But we made it out at the other end!
