We headed over to Glen Dye today to walk up to the top of Clachnaben - a landmark that we see from many places because of the distinctive granite tor at the top. I found a sheltered spot to set up the camera whilst hubby was faffing around at something else!
What wide open and wonderful places for your walks! No one could drink in more of the country side than you and your husband seem to do! This is lovely!!!
Brilliant shot, the perfect choice of place with that fantastic view! Your Fitbit must be nearly exploding with steps if you have one! I feel lazy! I like the word faffing....my daughter uses that all the time about her husband, he is a great faffer! Faffing Farrer!!
@happypat He he I don't have a fitbit, but I do use Strava to record walks, jogs and cycle rides. I love the word faff too - it's so descriptive! We're taking advantage of hubby's new found availability in retirement and the very mild winter (so far) to walk as much as possible, and re-discover all the old haunts.
@casablanca He he I'm always excited and happy to get a shot to work out using the camera timer - especially when using nature to find a place to rest the camera and also defeating the gusts of wind.
@sarah19 You were mentioned when we were up there, Sarah, as we could see Bennachie in the distance. Not in this photo though ... it's just slightly to the left of this image.
Looking forward to getting out more as days lengthen.
