On Saturday we walked around Oslo, but had to be in The Dubliner late afternoon to watch the Irish play the Welsh in rugby. As an Irish supporter, hubby was disappointed as Wales played brilliantly and won the match and the championship. England were due to play Scotland later, and we were a bit concerned about that game, so opted to go back to the hotel and watch it quietly on the only available screen - hubby's iPhone. The three of watched with heavy hearts as Scotland started out so badly and we were 31 points down near the end of the first half. A score that seemed impossible to come back from. However the near-impossible happened. After half time the Scots came back fighting and the end score was an unbelievable 38-38. What a match it was! The best of the championship and there we were watching it on a tiny screen in a hotel room!
@vignouse We just couldn't believe it. We'd never, ever, have bet on that result. @peterday It was an incredible match however you look at it, and whichever team you support. @yorkshirekiwi We've certainly never seen the likes and were in total disbelief at the end of the match.
