Carn Liath Leveret by jamibann

Carn Liath Leveret

As we crossed the top of Carn Liath I spotted this cute little leveret. He didn't run off - I think he was mesmerised by the sight of people on top of his mountain. I was happy that he didn't, as it allowed me to get a shot of him in his camouflaged spot.
What a cutie! gorgeous.

so cute - his defence is probably to try to hide by staying still and camouflaged.

He’s a cutie, I think nature tells them not to move rather like fawns. Fav

Fortunately, Mother Nature has equipped animals with an automatic defense strategy. Long may it continue.

Wow what fabulous camouflage...
Cute little creature....hope he has a long life! The way they move is amazing when they are adult. We spotted one last weekend when out in the countryside.

Nicely spotted. I thought at first it was a newborn Scottish calf.
