A solitary hay bale by jamibann

A solitary hay bale

A parting shot from our fishing weekend on the Spey river. You can just see the fishing bothy on the left edge of the image.

By the way - for all of you who commented on 'not understanding fishing' I am totally with you. I do not fish. I walk and photograph whilst they fish. The only thing I do like to do is to catch brown trout and eat them for tea. Catch and release I don't understand at all - for me it defeats the purpose of fishing!
great processing and composition, liking that sky

I’m with you about fishing, Harry & I have been quite enjoying the recent series on TV called Gone Fishing with Mortimer & Whitehouse. A very gentle programme of chat & fishing but they put everything they caught back too. The poor fish must have sore mouths! Our youngest son used to trout fish & make his own flies but doesn’t seem to fish in NZ. Hope you managed to get a supper or two!
