I drove up to see dad this afternoon, and as the temperature hasn't got above 0 degrees all day, I was sure that the water down by the river Dee would offer something interesting for me to photograph. I wasn't disappointed. I sense we might be in for a long, cold winter this year.
Beautifully encased branches.... love the pattern & the twists & turns, almost like one of those puzzles where you trace one end of a line to find where it goes.
