We took our friends cycling on Sunday. They were on hybrid e-bikes, we were on our road bikes. Quite a good combination, although they both had to wait for us at the tops of the hills. It was a beautiful day and we had a coffee stop at this well hidden resting spot down by the river. Hubby knew about it as it's one of his fishing beats. Some chocolate was eaten, as you can see!
I have had a couple of squares of this very same chocolate....I love seasalt choc! Iām always very drawn to photos with people in them so enjoyed very much your lovely friend photo. My daughter has just bought herself an E Bike she loves it means she can keep up with hubby who cycles for miles, when he wants more of a leisurely ride that is!
It looks like a pleasant day and a perfect spot for coffee and chocolate. I think I would thoroughly enjoy one of those ebikes! But there is no place to ride them safely around here. Nice group shot!
@happypat All our friends are at it with e-bikes. I refuse to even try one for the moment, as I could only like it!!! My time will come for that, but it's not yet though. They are fantastic for city cycling, I'm sure, and for commuting, but they also allow cyclists of different abilities to cycle together. They're a great invention!
