We pass this house regularly when we walk 'up the Baddoch' - the Baddoch being the name of the stream which runs down this valley. The house has had a recent coat of paint and is looking lovely. It's owned by Invercauld estate and is only used for shelter for shooting and hunting parties now, I think. I like how the various estates in our area use the same colour of paint for all the paintwork of their properties. Invercauld is burgundy. This image was taken last Thursday.
Wow that’s a beautifully kept stone house……well done to the Invercauld Estate…..so you can tell by the colour of paint used which estate they belong to….a bit like marking sheep! Simple but clever!
