In my photo quiz for the Golf Club Christmas lunch in a couple of week's time, there are three points available for this photo. One for stating the obvious - it's a golf ball. Another for knowing where the very recently cut-down tree is situated on the golf course (it was a very large tree), and a bonus point for knowing the hill in the background. I wonder if it's too difficult?!
I'd say if they are familiar with the course they ought to be able to get this one. I like the details of the ball, the dimples and the brand, the rugged edge of the stump and bark, and the nice blur of the background.
Hmmm...yes, all will get the obvious; those who play the course a lot will probably get the location. But the name of the hill? If it's a well-known one, perhaps, but if not well-known, it will be the question that drives all the players who like to get every answer correct crazy! Love this shot.
Nice shot of the golf ball!
