It was a beautiful morning in Edinburgh yesterday and so we took advantage to head up to Arthur's Seat for a walk before coming home. As always, the views were splendid. This view of Calton Hill was taken on the way down, whilst crossing the Salisbury Crags.
We got back home to find we were snowed 'out' - we had to dig our car into its parking space.
A nice couple of days away, but very happy to be back. :-)
Such an interesting scene, with the columns and tower, the river, city and mountains in the distance. It's sometimes a challenge to travel in the winter.
So happy not living in a country where we have to do that ;-)
