I rather liked these 'found objects' on Cynthia Street, London, the other day. I also thought @boxplayer might appreciate them given her recent 'Boot' finds!
A rather lovely Sunday spent yesterday with son Alexander and his girlfriend. Morning coffee in the Seven Dials area, lunch at the Pig & Butcher on Liverpool Road and then a viewing of the Wildlife Photography Exhibition (fabulous as usual), courtesy of Ørsted, at the National History Musuem. And now Kent is calling.
You have to wonder what happened that the owner of these boots left them tied to a signpost. They look like a pair of boots that a construction worker or someone who does some kind of heavy-duty work would use. Fabulous find.
Super find……good boots too! Reminded me of shoes & boots slung over telephone wires in Melbourne! Someone told us it advertises drug area…..probably not true at all but it sounded good!
Interesting find. Shoes are often hanging on street in the Havana and I was told they signal the presence of a drug smuggler. I hope these boots don't have the same meaning!
