Yesterday was a lovely day, and I took Jan out on a walk she'd never done before and which was a little outwith her comfort zone. The first section was pretty steep but it levelled out once we got up to the top of Craig Dearg. Jan did a great job and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The effort was followed, of course, by coffee and a scone in Ballater's Cafe Orka.
