With our rental car parked safely below, we enjoyed the view above as the ferry zoomed us from Valdez to Whittier through the chilly, beautiful waters of Prince William Sound and the Gulf of Alaska. While we did see some wildlife, the goal was mainly to get from point A to point B; so the ride was quite relaxing without camera pressed to eyeball while teetering over rails.
