Strike My Fancy! by janetb

Strike My Fancy!

I adore clove-studded oranges with all their vibrant color, heady aroma, and rich history. They join pine boughs and magnolia leaves freshly cut from willing trees just out there and nuts and pinecones heaped in bowls. Juxtaposed with a bit of holiday glitz and glamour, natural elements strike my fancy!
Lovely!!

@olivetreeann Thank you, Ann! Busy day today cleaning up after yesterday's Christmas party, and the light just kept coming in onto the clove-studded oranges.

Yes, so aromatic! My mother taught me to place whole cloves in a pattern along the side of a ham too.
