Shrubby area along our roadside houses many birds, and this leafless time of year reveals nests in interesting locations. This one at eye level caught my attention today, and I found myself imagining last Summer’s tiny hatchlings hidden safely among the leaves of this grapevine-entangled shrub all the while I drove by unaware of the miracle unfolding.
