Another woodland wildflower providing food for late summer and fall wildlife: White Wood Aster. Well, as far as I can tell at this point. Identifying what we find growing alongside our newly created trails delights! Without a lot of time today to really dive into aster identification, White Wood Aster seems a safe bet; and don't dainty, delicate asters bring much beauty and joy to this time of year?
