Thanks to friend Rab telling me about the ease of growing onions from sets, I planted them for the first time in the kitchen garden. Four weeks later, the green shoots stand about six inches tall! We'll snip some shoots for use as green onions and leave the others to develop into full-size bulbs.
I praise you, Lord, for something new and fun to try in the kitchen garden.
