This week's photography class theme, "capturing real life," prompted me to make this picture of the water glass on my bedside table. Just one of a set of four glasses with a pitcher to match, this pretty, gold-rimmed antique means more to me than one might think. It really does sit there every day because my sweet husband freshly fills this glass for me every evening before we go to bed. A picture of real life? Yes, but also a picture of my husband's love.
