Going Back Home by janetb

Going Back Home

Seeing the cows so close to the road made going back home for my camera seem worth it, so I turned the car around and headed up the hill. About two minutes later, I came to a stop, opened the window, and focused on this one. Gracie, in the passenger seat, let out a high-pitched, startled bark at the sight of this new-to-her creature. I love living so close to farm animals. I find them wonderful to watch; and once my funny puppy calmed down, she enjoyed watching them, too.

I praise you, Lord, for this cow standing close enough to the road to allow us a good look at her.
She is a fine cow. Looks like she has been having fun in the mud too. Her coat looks so soft and warm.

This is what greeted me walking the trail this morning - three escaped - thought I noticed some cow paddies when Jerik and I were walking a day ago to the playground. Want to see something that might clear the playground! Love him looking straight at you.
