This lovely woman is a marvelous friend and role model for aging. I did a favor for her a few weeks ago and asked her if she would be a practice model for me to learn to take portrait photos in trade. she agreed and yesterday I collected. Please give suggestions. Best viewed large.
Just beautiful! I wonder if you could use a reflector (even a piece of white card) to bounce some light up from the bottom right? But I'm just being picky cos I'm faving anyway!
It's a wonderful portrait, but yes, the right side of her face is slightly darker. I would rather her be looking at me too. So sweet of her to sit for you :-)
Lovely! I think the lighting is lovely and she looks like she has so many stories to tell! One note would be: I wish there was a tad bit more directional light coming from the right to offset the shadows. That's my only note...

Thank you so much for this reminder....I let my looks go to the dogs most of the time! My mother took good care of her appearance even when she was over 80...perhaps one day I will post a pic of her...^_^
