How Can an Invasive Plant Be So Beautiful?

Scotch broom is such an annoyance...allergies, pushing out other native species, deep roots that are hard to dig out. But it is so bright and beautiful. After the rain it was positively shining.

I don't like Scoth Broom, but it has such a lovely colour and it looks great here in the sun with those lovely drops of water

They would look lovely planted closely in rows...the color itself is enough to cheer up dull spirit!

Because it's beautiful? Dandelions are invasive too, but I find them rather attractive. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
