So here is the promised collage from Hawaii. I need practice doing collages! Best viewed large. Starting at the top left you can barely see him swimming in the distance. He would then swim up towards the rocks and guage the surf, riding it backwards and forwards until it seemed safe. Then he would leap with a bit of help from his wings up the rocks onto the cement wall. He then would walk over for a drink from the puddle and proceed to clean himself carefully stem to stern. When adequately cleansed, he would say something to us all about it and then go to sleep. He did this every morning we were there and apparently had been doing the same swimming routine daily for months. He then spent the day in the park and parking area near the bay and sometime during the dark he would go back to sea. What an amazing creature!
I love this! What a fun animal companion to your mornings. My favorite photo from the collage is on the left side middle--I love that backwards glance on the diagonal wall.
