When we went to Quartsville Creek, we saw lots of uncut wheat blowing in the wind. We stopped both going and coming but I liked the shots where they were backlit the best. It may be that the reason that they hadn't been cut yet was the upset about finding GMO wheat in one of the fields in OR leading to Japan, one of the primary buyers of the wheat, to refuse to buy it. If so, sad for the farmers, but lucky for the photographers!
