I got up early yesterday morning hoping for a sunrise but instead I found glorious twilight fog- obviously this was a long exposure.

This is really lovely, Jane...an interesting composition and I'm Fave-ing it to remind me of different approaches than what I would probably have used looking at the scene...your's is so good!
