We still are having really foggy mornings so I got up early to see what would be fun to shoot and found myself at my favorite local bridge. It was beautiful and I took a lot of shots with this one being my favorite. Best viewed large.
On the other hand, I sure hope the folks who capture good light stars can help me out. I shot this at a F stop varying between 16-22 and did bracketed exposures all over the map. I got the yellow lights to star but the red ones just blew out. advice? I also wonder what you do in post processing to make the stars really pop. Thanks for visiting and any suggestions would be welcome.
I totally love the fog here. For me its f22 with my 50mm lens and don't touch it, but it does depend on the lens I think. Some produce clearer patterns than others.
I get stars on lights at f22, but I bet the fog had something to do with it not working ??? not sure, just an idea
this is my favorite bridge to shoot! my sister uses my photos to make a calendar for her print shop business every year and my shot of this bridge made the calendar this year. I posted one of them here on Jan 20, 2013
