Another shot from Wednesday's trip to Winchester Bay. There is something so compelling to me about the light at the end. Maybe partly I like it because there is so little compelling about the undefined cloud filled sky.

FAV! Lovely, Jane...you're quite right: the light at the end is so compelling and the lines of the pier draws the eye so much towards it, that the overcast sky goes completely unnoticed...in fact, anything more in the sky would be a distraction...simply beautiful!
WOWZERS Jane...if ever there was an image to make you walk into it just to see what is at the end of the tunnel this is it. I have made as big as I can on the screen and still want to keep going to reach the end. Fantastic shot!!!!
I have seen pier shots before Jane but none so good as this. it looks a very clean line right to the far end .....no struts or iron girders to interrupt that view right through to the end...fave!
Haunting shot, one of the best pier shots I have ever seen on 365, compelling and original, atmospheric and intriguing, complete and utter fav for me. You should print and frame this.
