The day after the wedding we spent riding the Bart and exploring the Japanese gardens and botanical gardens. I just had my little camera along so as to avoid drawing attention but I still like several of my shots.
I was gone all weekend until last night and took lots of pictures but I arrived home with the flu and can barely manage sitting at the computer for a few minutes.
I'm so sorry I am so behind on commenting. I can't see how I am going to catch up...hopefully in the next couple of days I will at least visit your more recent shots. If any of the people I follow have particular shots they'd like me to see for sure, please let me know
Looks like an awesome place to visit and I like the effect of your processing. Hope the nasty old flu leaves you alone in short order. *passes a tissue*
@webfoot solarizing filters in color EFEX. I'll check out the next installments of your grow old with me series tomorrow...hopefully I'll be able to focus better by then. I've loved the series so far...so full of respect and love
There is a darkroom technique called tone-line that looks very similar to this. I lived in that area for a long time and never saw this very peaceful place.
Very interesting effect...great composition and detail here. (I have posted so many pics on which I was missing your expert opinion , I can't even begin to mention :) ...hope you're better soon; at least no job taking up more time!)
Magnificent picture, love the way it resembles a charcoal and pencil drawing. No need to worry about "catching up" or apologize for not being able to comment. Get lots of rest and concentrate on the present and doing what you most want to do with the time and energy you have.
Get better and I think you'll enjoy my Grow Old with Me series.
