What a crazy day I had yesterday...first the driveway nearly got destroyed with our huge culvert getting blocked with a landslide. Luckily I took a walk out to get the mail and saw it. Jim is gone for two days so I called for help and between me and 4 men shoveling we finally got it cleared. And then I came back to the hosue and discovered we have no water. Who knows what the problem is. Our usual plumber can't come until Monday so hopefully another local plumber will be able to fix it before then.
So I never got my camera out and decided to play around some more with black and white editing. At least I had fun and it took my mind off the water problem.
Thanks for being such great supporters
I sure wish you could send some of this extra water our way - we've had some rain lately but we are still way under the levels we should be at. Nice pic and the B&W processing gives this a dramatic feel.
Oh dear Jane, sounds like you are having a difficult time at the moment. Hope all is sorted now. This is a beautiful scene, the little row of birds gives a great idea of the scale.
Good luck with all your landslide and water problems, Jane. Wow, this is a magnificent shot and, by the looks of it, a B&W editing nightmare...one which you have masterfully overcome. I love the strong contrast that you have used to lift the little waves on the water and the trees in the background. And a great composition...fav for me!
Great shot of all the birds lined up
