The rain and distant snow on the morning of the last day of our class changed the order of things such that the site that took more hiking away from the car had major time restraints. Three of the participants decided they couldn't keep up the hiking pace and went back while the teacher, a 40 yo jock and I (!!!!) were the only ones that went. I was worried about keeping up but managed it and was glad I had since it was a wonderful spot. This particular grouping of trees and rocks really caught my eye and I shot it with lots of different compositions.
Thanks so much for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs
Worth the hike - great b&w - what a super rock - the textures and tones are fascinating - I do see Rosie's point - does have an Ansel Adams feel to it. Well done.
